BROOKS ENTERPRISE AND CONSULTANTS IS LAUNCHING A TECHNOLOGY DIVERSITY INITIATIVE
March 8, 2021: [Cartersville, GA] — Brooks Enterprise and Consultants, owned by LaKisha C. Brooks, has partnered with global technology training company, GreyCampus to launch a technology diversity initiative by offering six technology development certification and certification preparation courses to upskill diverse talent and prepare individuals for 4th revolution technology. The initiative will focus on getting more women in the technology industry.
Brooks Enterprise and Consultants’ technology diversity program will begin with a six-month Data Science Career Development Program that starts on April 17th.
The program will consist of:
- A six-month intensive part-time program designed for outcomes.
- Project-based learning augmented by rich content.
- Bootcamp-style classes ran by empathetic instructors.
- Mentoring and support by industry veterans
- Dedicated career services with profile building and resume forwarding support.
The entire program is $2,500. In conjunction with Women’s History Month, Brooks Enterprise and Consultants will offer 10 full-tuition scholarships to women for the upcoming Data Science Career Development Program class. “Exposing more women to the opportunities a career in technology can provide is important for a diverse pipeline for organizations”, Brooks says. “Our mission is to engage talent to build leaders; we are doing just that. We are developing the next generation of technology leaders. We are changing the face of technology.” Brooks continues. Veterans also receive a 15% discount on all programs.
In addition to the Data Science Career Development Program, Brooks Enterprise and Consultants will offer certifications and certification preparation courses in the following: Full Stack, CompTIA A+, Project Management, Certified Associate in Project Management, and Scrum Master, which will begin in August 2021. Brooks Enterprise and Consultants will also offer Advanced Excel as a non-certification course.
