We are seeking a highly motivated Research and Outreach Specialist to compile a comprehensive list of diversity, talent management, and HR conferences, as well as academic institutions and professional associations across the United States.
Job Description:
As a Research and Outreach Specialist, your primary responsibility is to conduct extensive research and compile a detailed database of conferences, educational institutions, and professional associations. Your efforts will be instrumental in supporting our organization’s initiatives and strengthening our network of contacts.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Research and Compile Conference List:
    • Identify and research 250 diversity, talent management, and HR conferences held in the United States, including both in-person and virtual events in 2024 and 2025.
    • Gather essential details, such as event dates, locations, themes, and registration information.
    • Maintain an organized database of conference information.
  2. Compile Academic Institution List:
    • Research and compile a list of 200 colleges and universities in the United States.
    • Identify the Student Affairs Director for each institution and provide their contact information.
  3. Professional Association Contacts:
    • Compile a list of all points of contact for 500+ SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) and 100 ATD (Association for Talent Development) chapters across the United States.
  4. Verification and Updates:
    • Regularly verify and update the database to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  5. Communication:
    • Communicate with relevant stakeholders to gather information and maintain relationships.
  6. Documentation:
    • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of the research process, sources, and contact information.
Qualifications:
  • Strong research and data collection skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in data management tools and databases.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Must complete the project by December 15th.

  • $1200
